Students are reminded that it is the student's responsibility to get makeup work from the teacher when absent. The best way is to email the teacher from home on the day you are out, or let the teacher know if you plan to be out ahead of time. Tests and quizzes are to be made up during the student's lunch period or after school quickly, and homework/classwork assignments should be handed in immediately. A grade of zero will be given for all assignments not made up within 3 days of the absence. Please remember that absences in Honors and AP classes are much more difficult to recover--consistent attendance is always the best way to success in school.
